Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design skills with potential electrical knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to work in a factory with manufacturing associates to solve problems.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and complete them efficiently and on time.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shop floor layout to improve product flow and reduce WIP.
• Assist in assembly of prototype products on the shop floor and build test fixtures as needed.
• Create and maintain work instructions, exploded drawings, and wiring documentation.
• Work with engineers to improve manufacturability of new and existing products.
• Develop fixtures and tools to improve operations on the shop floor and reduce cycle times.
• Support ERP data management and document control activities.
