Responsibilities
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and associated control wiring.
,
• Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3 phase power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and soft starts.
,
• Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices such as encoders and load cells.
,
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces, including logic modifications in ladder logic.
,
• Diagnose and troubleshoot integrated and stand-alone graphic human-machine interfaces.
,
• Diagnose communication protocols, including Profibus, serial, and industrial Ethernet.
,
• Utilize electrical schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
,
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
,
• Demonstrated experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems required.
,
• Experience with troubleshooting and performing maintenance on packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment .
,
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, etc.) .
,
• PLC programming .
,
• Experience with electrical encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers .
,
• Proficient with electrical schematics.
