Job summary

A. Stucki Company is seeking a proactive EHS Specialist for our manufacturing facility in Kentucky. You will implement EHS programs, help ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, and participate in training, audits, and incident investigations.

The role emphasizes hands-on participation on the shop floor, data-driven safety improvements, and collaboration with production teams to foster a strong safety culture. Monday–Friday dayshift, with comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and safety training.
• CPR/First Aid certification and/or OSHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer facility safety programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Assist in investigating workplace incidents and root cause analyses.
• Coordinate and track employee safety training and onboarding.
• Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, and SDS documentation.
• Assist with environmental compliance activities (waste, spill, stormwater).
• Promote safety culture with production teams and supervisors.
• Monitor PPE usage and safety controls implementation.
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
• Support workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work processes.
• Track safety KPIs and remediation actions; report to leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain a clean, organized safety-focused work environment.
