Job summary

REELSAFE SAFETY LLC in Odessa, TX is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator for a full-time role. You will support health and safety programs, ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, and help foster a culture of safety while reporting to the Director of Safety.

Responsibilities include performing audits, leading safety committees, delivering training, and handling workers' compensation processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills with root cause analysis using Fishbone and 5-Why.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Lead Safety committees.
• Provide training and development programs for employees.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving workplace safety and health.
• Assist with workers' compensation claims in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on EHS performance metrics, incidents, and compliance activities for management review.
• Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and best practices within the manufacturing industry.
