Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL is seeking a Project Manager for Manufacturing Digital Transformation (MDx) to drive cross-functional initiatives across operations, OT and IT. You will lead projects ranging from proofs of concept to scaling digital products, aligning with governance and Helios program standards.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience with both Waterfall and Agile, and the ability to coordinate with plant managers, front-line workers and global IT resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with capacity planning and workload balancing.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with Agile teams, facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and develop delivery plans aligned with established roles, responsibilities and governance structures.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Lead organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training coordination, and adoption measurement.
• Drive site readiness and support successful adoption of digital solutions across manufacturing facilities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Manage project RAID logs and drive timely resolution.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and developers to define requirements and prioritize value delivery.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with task owners within the team and across ADM and partners.
• Track and report project value realization, including operational, financial and adoption metrics.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource coordination across multiple initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Facilitate project stage-gate reviews and governance processes.
• Ensure project deliverables align with ADM standards and objectives.
• Provide coaching and support to team members in Agile methodologies and user story writing.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and build strong relationships.
