Job summary

Corning Incorporated seeks a Manufacturing Data Solutions Engineer to transform manufacturing and operational data into actionable BI, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. You’ll bridge operations and digital tech by building scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports that drive productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, analytics, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years in data engineering, BI, analytics, or manufacturing systems.
• Experience supporting MES manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience developing reporting and analytics for business users.
• Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within Databricks.
• Build ETL/ELT solutions for manufacturing data integration.
• Develop scalable data models and datasets for reporting, analytics, and AI.
• Create Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.
• Understand data movement across MES, ERP, SAP, Oracle, and SQL.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers on AI-enabled solutions.
• Promote data-driven decision making across the organization.
