Job summary

Hydrasearch Company is seeking an Engineering Specialist in Stevensville, MD to create and maintain product data in our ERP system and related records. You will work with drawings, BOMs, routers, and manufacturing instructions, while supporting engineering changes and documentation updates.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with engineering and production teams, and ongoing process improvements. A four-year degree is not required, but strong technical background is valued.

Qualifications

• Must read mechanical drawings and understand how parts, materials, and manufacturing operations fit together.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing/drafting environments is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning technical software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Items, Bills of Material, Routers, Marking Instructions, and related product information in SyteLine.
• Produce and maintain manufacturing records from approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work with engineers/drafters to prepare, update, and verify technical information.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to clarify requirements and resolve routine technical or documentation questions.
• Apply approved engineering changes to affected records and ensure alignment of information.
• Identify missing or conflicting information and work with engineers/drafters to resolve issues and improve processes.
