Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analyst to be the data architect for our electronics manufacturing facility. You will hunt down data from diverse equipment and build automated reporting infrastructure.

The ideal candidate blends data detective work with automation, writing Python scripts today while building scalable pipelines for tomorrow, and collaborating with Engineering and NPI teams to improve manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL) to parse raw data from flat files.
• Experience writing SQL queries to extract data from MES or local SQL Express instances.
• Ability to transition manual copy-paste processes into automated pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Data Acquisition: Identify and extract data from SMT lines, AOI, AXI, and functional test fixtures.
• Performance Metrics & Statistical Analysis: Develop and maintain FPY, Parametric Test Trends, and Cp/Cpk reports.
• Reporting Automation: Design Python scripts or BI tooling to replace manual Excel workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present findings to Engineering and NPI teams to drive design changes.
