Work Shift 1 - First Shift

Job Summary

Are you the type of person who loves to understand data flow in order to facilitate effective decision making? In this role you will work cross functionally with Engineering, Finance and IT to create, interpret and protect data sets while continuously improving their accuracy. We’re looking for a subject matter expert on MRP and ERP programs with strong communication, data analytics and process improvement skills.

What You’ll Do
  1. Identify trends and correlations using non-linear regression modeling, simulations, or other statistical techniques.
  2. Create compelling narratives that tell the story behind the data insights using dynamic visualizations and various communication strategies.
  3. Wrangle data stored in relational databases, flat files, and non-relational databases.
  4. Produce business insights through leading continuous discovery, stakeholder engagement, and documentation to enhance data literacy.
  5. Engage cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as IT, Finance, and Accounting to continuously improve our usage of our MRP and EPR systems and the quality of data/information it provides.
  6. Evaluate and improve routing formulas, processes and tools used by ECN Coordinators to insure the creation and maintenance of accurate data within our production systems. Train team members across the organization on their intent and use.
  7. Review new print content standards for manufacturability, including material specs, tolerances and processes needed for successful manufacturing.
  8. Assist finance with consistent costing and routing processes and philosophy across the company. Lead efforts to improve these processes and the data they generate within the company, including the training and mentoring of ECN Coordinators.
  9. Deep understanding of MRP and ERP type system functionality and requirements. Ability to provide consultation and make recommendations to management regarding the usage and improvement of those systems to help prevent ECN implementation problems on the production floor.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other related field with five years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with data modeling concepts and data storage technologies, and how to extract from these sources using querying languages (SQL and/or KQL).
  • ASQ, Quality Improvement Associate, Quality Process Analyst, Quality Technician, and/or Quality Auditor certification, preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and delegate tasks within those projects.

Travel: Occasional travel is expected of this position.
