Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Customer Service Support to handle day-to-day customer service for the manufacturing facility. You will process orders, manage customer profiles in the POS system, and collaborate with teams to meet daily targets.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Full-time hours are 7:00am–5:00pm, with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and prior administrative work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via telephone and email.
• Enter and confirm customer purchase orders.
• Maintain in-house filing of department paperwork.
• Maintain customer profiles in the POS system.
• Work on special projects as directed by Manager.
• Update department metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
