Job Summary: As a Financial Analyst at Trane Technologies, you will play a critical role in our financial operations by focusing on standard cost setting and inventory/materials analysis. You will work closely with our production, materials, and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and efficient inventory management. Where is the work: This position has been designated as On-Site. What you will do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing for all products.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual and standard costs.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to analyze material usage and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present detailed reporting and analysis to management.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to production costs and inventory.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support annual physical inventory and standard cost setting process.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems.
• Other ad hoc requests/projects as needed.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 1-2+ years of experience in general accounting or in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data analytics (Alteryx, Tableau) a plus.

Compensation: Base Pay Range: $61,500-80,950 Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
