O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) Indianapolis seeks a cost estimator to develop estimates and pricing for quotes, analyze revisions, and set up parts and assemblies in the business system. The role collaborates with procurement, sales, and plant leadership to ensure profitable, timely proposals and accurate manufacturing cost estimates.

You will spend most of your time executing day-to-day administrative and technical activities to support new business, while communicating status and meeting

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
• Speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer prints to determine best production methods based on cost and quality.
• Assist in developing new business with existing customers.
• Help ensure profitable, sustainable, and collectible business.
• Interact with procurement, sales, and other divisions.
• Travel as needed for results; overnight travel may be required.
• Apply pricing strategy principles to division proposals.
• Collaborate with SB/SA managers to ensure timely proposals.
• Work with Plant Managers and manufacturing to estimate costs.
• Participate in technical discussions with internal or client personnel.
• Communicate project status and meet deadlines.
• Assist in presentations to customers and organize reviews.
• Understand the division's financial performance.
