Syntax Talent Solutions, LLC partners with a leading manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Plant Cost Controller who will own plant-level financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory control. This role collaborates with operations and senior finance to drive cost visibility and performance.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in manufacturing cost accounting, strong standard costing and variances knowledge, advanced Excel, and ERP experience (JDE preferred).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5-10 years of progressive manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Strong costing knowledge: standard costing, inventory accounting, variances.
• Experience with month-end close, GL, and plant financial reporting.
• Experience with AI and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience; JD Edwards (JDE) preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication with plant operations.

Aufgaben

• Own month-, quarter-, and year-end close for a manufacturing plant with GL and reporting.
• Perform product costing, gross margin, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, and physical inventory support.
• Analyze results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Partner with Plant Managers, operations, and supply chain to improve cost visibility.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audits.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting using Excel, ERP, and Power BI.
