Job summary

SKF’s Falconer, NY site seeks a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join the local finance team. You will analyze production costs, track manufacturing KPIs, and ensure data integrity across ERP interfaces.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in Accounting with 2–5 years in cost or general manufacturing accounting and proficient Excel/BI skills. Onsite role with possible weekend work and close collaboration with production teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting is required.
• 2 to 5 years of cost or general accounting experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and BI tools.
• Willingness to learn ERP systems; experience with Infor XA, SAP, Ariba, Basware is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Daily reporting and tracking of Manufacturing KPI’s.
• Inventory reconciliations, monitoring, and reporting.
• Assist in collecting, tracking, and analyzing production costs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and standard cost processes as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation and support audit requests.
• Ensure integrity of system interfaces to the general ledger.
• Provide data analytics and reports using BI tools (Power BI, QlikView).
• Assist in meeting reporting deadlines and requirements.
• Support other factories as needed.
