Champion Home Builder, Inc. in Leola, PA is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage product costing, margin analysis, and pricing impact for multiple brands of manufactured homes. You will maintain cost systems, BOMs, and pricing files, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Materials and Production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 2+ years in costing or manufacturing accounting, and proficiency with Navision. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or 2+ years related experience.
• Manufacturing costing experience preferred.
• Experience with Navision or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Manufactured housing or construction industry knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cost in Navision ERP, creates BOMs for models and options.
• Performs Navision maintenance and trains others.
• Audits BOMs on production floor for as-built items.
• Maintains standard construction specifications for each brand.
• Approves all job orders prior to production.
• Interacts with Sales, Engineering, Materials, and Production.
• Tracks commodity costs to monitor surcharges.
• Maintains current margin information for pricing decisions.
• Maintains Navision price files with approved prices.
• Assists with quarterly inventory count and valuation.
• Maintains the standard costing system and variances.
• Assists controller with inventories accounting.
