Job summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking a cost accountant to manage product costing and margin analysis across multiple brands of manufactured homes. The role involves maintaining master costing data, BOMs, and price files for quotation purposes, and ensuring accurate cost information for pricing decisions by leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing costing and margin analysis.
• Experience with Navision or other ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost data in Navision and update BOMs for models and options.
• Provide costing estimates and support pricing decisions.
• Manage standard costing system and variances in purchases.
• Assist with quarterly inventory counts and valuation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Materials and Production.
• Audit bills of materials for accuracy on as-built items.
• Track commodity costs and monitor surcharges.
