Job summary

Peak Toolworks, based in Jasper, Indiana, offers a hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel to Canada. We seek a Corporate Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with senior leadership on planning and strategic initiatives.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep GAAP knowledge, and experience in a manufacturing environment, with responsibility for near-term close cycles and cross-location accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a controller role.
• Manufacturing or multi-location industry experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and implementing process improvements; audits with external accounting and tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Partner with CFO and leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
• Mentor accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate audits and tax compliance.
