Job summary

The Frey Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the accounting function, streamline processes, and support continued growth in a growing manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 7–12 years of progressive accounting experience, with manufacturing industry exposure and strong cost accounting, job costing, and margin analysis skills. ERP and NetSuite experience is a plus, and the role includes staff supervision and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or industrial settings preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, job costing, WIP, inventory and margin analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll oversight, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Clean up and strengthen financial records, processes, and internal controls.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, inventory, and overhead allocation.
• Partner with operations to improve profitability and financial visibility.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and management reporting.
• Develop KPI reporting and support QuickBooks-to-NetSuite conversion, including data cleanup and testing.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
