Job summary

Usher's Machine and Tool, a leader in the industrial gas turbine sector, seeks a seasoned Controller in Greenville, SC to lead accounting and finance operations and own the company’s financial direction.

With 5+ years in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing, you will manage monthly close, budgeting, cost accounting, and internal controls while partnering with plant leadership and executives to drive strategic initiatives.

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing background.
• Experience as Controller managing a full P&L in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and finance function, overseeing the full P&L.
• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee inventory, cost accounting, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance.
• Report financial and sustainability metrics to the parent company.
• Supervise and develop one direct report.
• Partner with plant leadership and international headquarters to support business objectives.
