Location Description

The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 155 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.


Responsibilities

Manufacturing Control Operator

Starting rate: $25.44 per hour

The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work:

  • D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am
  • Shift Premium - $1.50 per hour

Responsibilities

In the Manufacturing Control Operator (MCO) role, you will:

  • Operate and maintain equipment to distribute finished product to packaging lines
  • Perform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety

Qualifications

The successful candidate(s) for this role will have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a high school diploma or a GED
  • Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
