Job summary

Balanced Body, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of Pilates equipment, seeks a CNC Operator for its Woodshop in Sacramento. You’ll operate the CNC machine, perform routine changes, and maintain equipment with focus on safety and precision.

The role requires basic computer skills, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Swing shift Mon-Thu 2:15 PM–12:45 AM with overtime on Fri and Sat. Balance of pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with CNC or robotic equipment is desirable.
• Proficiency in safe woodworking techniques and tooling.
• Ability to operate common shop tools (saw, sander, router, grinder, drills).
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shift requirements.
• Physical capability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

What you'll do

This position is responsible for operating the CNC machine. It requires basic computer skills and the ability to learn the programs used to run the machine, along with basic mechanical skill for maintaining equipment and making routine changes to cutters, markers, and other tooling. Strong communication skills and high attention to detail are essential.

What You Bring

• Experience working on a robot/CNC machine is desirable
• Working knowledge of safe woodworking techniques and tooling
• Comfort with tools including saw, sander, router, grinder, and battery power drills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, and carry as needed for a full shift (8–10 hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Self-motivated with a positive, solution‑seeking attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Consistent, reliable attendance and a commitment to a set work schedule

Salary Range

CNC Operator $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Work Schedule

The hours for Swing shift are Monday to Thursday 2:15PM - 12:45AM with overtime on Friday and Saturday
