Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to create, maintain, and sustain CI processes, metrics, and tools across managers and departments. You will support safety, quality, delivery, cost reduction, growth, and innovation initiatives while partnering with functional leaders and subject matter experts.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in process improvement, strong data analysis skills, and experience leading projects in a manufacturing or food production

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain, mathematics, engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in process improvement, continuous improvement, operations/production, or related experience.
• Project management or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identification, prioritization, and selection of potential projects to improve efficiency and margins.
• Collaborate with teams to identify problems, analyze data, and develop solutions for safety, quality, and operations.
• Support investigations and counter-measures for quality or safety concerns.
• Track production performance and prepare improvement reports and charts.
• Drive continuous improvement culture and measurable business process gains.
• Assist in training employees on CI principles and tools for timely project delivery.
• Conduct initial training sessions with new production staff on proficiency, safety, and productivity.
• Assess employee potential and report training needs to management.
• Maintain knowledge of plant systems and equipment; support cross-functional DFA facilities as needed.
