Job summary

Excelion Partners LLC is seeking a Project Engineer in Oshkosh, WI to lead capital expenditure projects, manage equipment implementation, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency. You will apply Lean principles, CAD modeling, and cross-functional teamwork to optimize metal fabrication and assembly processes.

Responsibilities include leading equipment installation, evaluating capital equipment proposals, reducing downtime and cycle times, and developing standardized work

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; 6+ years of hands-on technical experience accepted in lieu.
• Experience leading capital equipment projects and automated assembly systems preferred.
• Proven ability to implement Lean practices and drive process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and specs for capital equipment to reduce costs.
• Analyze downtime, scrap, and cycle-time bottlenecks to improve throughput.
• Design tooling and fixtures with cross-functional teams.
• Develop standardized work instructions to ensure operator safety and consistency.
