Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Capability Coordinator to drive onboarding and training programs across manufacturing and warehouse teams. You will lead onboarding for all cohorts, design standardized training, and ensure safety, operational readiness, and capability development on the floor.

The role emphasizes integrating IWS principles, training systems, and continuous improvement to strengthen plant performance. A background in RTT/IWS, TPM, or OPEX, plus US work authorization, is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations preferred.
  • Experience with RTT/IWS, TPM, and/or OPEX.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, ideally demonstrated through a completed improvement project.
  • Must have indefinite authorization to work in the United States.
  • Availability to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel less than 5%.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead onboarding for all manufacturing and warehouse team member cohorts across all lines and shifts.
  • Support the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of onboarding programs.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation, classroom training, plant tours, and on-the-job training readiness.
  • Build engaging onboarding experience that promotes inclusion, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Support development of on-the-floor training strategies for new hires and upskilling.
  • Develop, maintain, and track training materials, including SOPs, JHAs, JSTs, OPLs, and checklists.
  • Coordinate and schedule all training sessions, certifications, and continued education programs.
  • Maintain centralized training documentation and ensure materials are current and aligned to standards.
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs to improve outcomes.
  • Track and manage team member skills, certifications, and capability progression.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership to build targeted development plans.
  • Advise site leadership on workforce capability, readiness, and development needs.
  • Align programs to plant performance, including true efficiency and cases handled per hour.
  • Partner with line leadership to ensure training supports Run to Target (RTT) execution.
  • Track KPIs related to training effectiveness, onboarding success, and capability development.
  • Drive continuous improvement of training systems, onboarding programs, and capability processes.
  • Build strong relationships with team members through coaching, feedback, and support.
  • Deliver constructive feedback while maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Champion a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning across the plant.
