Global Power Components is a private manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers and large enclosures. We seek a motivated Buyer to join the Purchasing team to procure services, materials and supplies and negotiate favorable terms.

This position emphasizes establishing supplier relationships and vendor research to support production. You will analyze market trends, ensure items meet Engineering drawings and GPC standards, and monitor critical path items while maintaining stock data

• Strong negotiation, decision making and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain supplier relationships.
• Research current and potential new vendors.
• Analyze market trends for pricing.
• Ensure special order item accuracy per Engineering drawings.
• Monitor critical path items and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensuring incoming products meets GPC standards.
• Ensure stock data/BOL accuracy.
