Job summary

AIRSYS is seeking a Manufacturing Buyer to support procurement and supply chain at the Woodruff, SC facility. The role manages the full Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring materials, components, and services are purchased, received, and paid on time to keep production on schedule.

You will serve as the primary liaison with suppliers and internal teams, driving cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance while supporting inventory, planning, and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and purchasing processes.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience working in ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience supporting production and inventory planning activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Procure-To-Pay process from requisition to supplier payment readiness.
• Review and process purchase requisitions and validate requirements.
• Convert approved requisitions into purchase orders and maintain ERP records.
• Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and three-way matching.
• Coordinate receipt of goods and resolve invoicing issues with Accounts Payable.
• Support inventory management, production planning, and MRP activities.
• Drive cost control, supplier performance, and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Finance to resolve supplier issues.
