A leading company in the food service industry seeks a Manufacturing Business Consultant to oversee multiple Central Manufacturing Locations. This role requires a passion for quality bakery products, effective coaching, and a strong ability to foster relationships with franchisees to enhance operational excellence. Ideal candidates should have significant experience in manufacturing, especially within the Quick Service Restaurant sector, combined with relevant educational qualifications and certification in food safety.
The Manufacturing Business Consultant has responsibility for between 20 and 30 highly complex Central Manufacturing Locations (CMLs). These CMLs are responsible for supplying donuts to Dunkin’ restaurants within their region. The role is to uphold the standards and reputation of the brand while enhancing operational excellence and franchisee profitability. The incumbent will provide leadership through effective business planning, continual evaluation, coaching, and building effective relationships based on mutual trust and respect. They will lead all operational aspects of the new CML opening process, from project kickoff through post-opening assessments. Using operational assessment tools, they will evaluate and assist franchisees in maintaining Dunkin' standards to improve food safety, product quality, and profitability. This individual acts as a coach and manufacturing leader across their portfolio of CMLs.
Manufacturing Business Consultants are responsible for an assigned portfolio of franchisee or third-party owned CMLs. They collaborate with CML franchisees and/or ownership to set and achieve operational goals. They focus on coaching and influencing franchise and ownership organizations to deliver a consistent and safe brand experience.
An ideal candidate would live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island or be willing to relocate to one of these states.

The role is 20% office-based and 80% in manufacturing/outdoor environments. Approximately 80% travel is required. The employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Long periods of standing in various environments are expected.
Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000. The actual salary will depend on experience, education, training, and location.
