Job summary

Wood Personnel Services in Middle Tennessee is hiring Manufacturing Associates for multiple opportunities across Gallatin, Portland, Hartsville, Wilson County and surrounding areas. These roles offer a foot in the door to gain experience, learn new skills, and grow into a long-term career.

Typical duties include assembling, inspecting, packaging metal components, operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Perform job tasks, keeping safety first.
• Willing to be flexible with work hours, departments, and schedules.
• Self-assess work and use good judgment to ensure that a quality product is produced.
• Strong work ethic and strong attention to detail.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and package metal components and finished products.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from workstations and production lines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Identify and report defects or production concerns to supervisors.
• Stack, label, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Assist with basic machine operation within the warehouse.
• Support production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Wear required PPE and follow all company safety policies.

• Pay rates up to $20.75 an hour, with opportunities varying by position and experience
• 1st and 2nd shifts may be available
