Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Garland, TX is seeking a fabrication and material-flow associate to manage production flow safely and in compliance with Standardized Work. You will help identify training needs and support continuous improvement efforts across the plant.

The role requires PIT operation, physical stamina, and the ability to cross-train on multiple operations while maintaining quality and on-time performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • PIT training / fork license required for some tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations.
  • Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Dependability/punctuality.
  • Have a basic understanding of Window and Door manufacturing requirements

  • Identify problems; communicate issues to WC Leads and Supervisors.
  • Understand and use problem solving tools to improve SQDC.
  • Assist with training co-workers.
  • Support a respectful workplace.
  • Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE:

Responsible for fabrication, supermarket, and assembly operations. Managing the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:

PAY RANGE:

$18.40 - $21.91

PROFIT SHARING:

In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
