Job description
Overview
Onsite at 225 Marcus Blvd, Hauppauge NY 11788. Shift - 2nd hours, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with a half hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.

The ability to set up and operate machinery. Operation consists of monitoring the machine's temperatures, pressures, flowrates, etc. via various gauges and then adjusting the appropriate part of the machine to ensure all those values are within the acceptable range for operation.
Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications and requirements in the manufacturing process.
Knowledge of basic mathematics; ability to communicate, read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English; working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS; and ability to use basic measuring equipment (rulers, calipers, etc...)
Job Description
Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Contribute to improving manufacturing processes through solution-based ideation for continuous improvements.
Escalate any manufacturing process issues in a timely manner to minimize scrap and downtime.
Complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures – including but not limited to production documents, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and scorecards.
Education/Experience
HS Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Experience.
Knowledge of basic mathematics; ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English; working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS; and ability to use basic measuring equipment (rulers, calipers, etc...)
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Ability to safely work with certain solvents, e.g. IPA, DMAC and other common, as required.
