Join Lonza as a Manufacturing Associate Level 3 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Set up, operate, and monitor equipment, including clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) processes.
  2. Document production activities in accordance with good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good documentation procedures (GDP).
  3. Troubleshoot equipment issues and review related documentation.
  4. Perform suite-specific production activities and laboratory tasks such as bioreactor inoculation, chromatography column operation, and product sampling.
  5. Train colleagues on production tasks and underlying scientific principles.
  6. Participate in shift exchanges, meetings, and technical documentation tasks.
  7. Maintain training and qualification for assigned tasks.
  8. Manage material movements, including transferring raw materials and chemicals.
  9. Support facility and equipment cleanliness through routine cleaning and sanitization, supporting 6S programs.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing experience.
  • AS/BS in a science-related field preferred.
  • Strict adherence to cGMPs during API manufacturing.
  • Ability to meet objectives and monitor critical metrics under supervision.
  • Understanding of corporate strategy and contribution to business success.
  • Focus on customer needs and openness to feedback.
