Grimco, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Level 1 – Material Handler for the 1st shift (7am - 3pm) to safely move, store, and supply materials across our Manchester, NH facility. You will work closely with production and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment and operate forklifts as needed.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and willing to learn. No advanced degree required; training is provided, and there are growth opportunities within a stable, family-owned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not mandatory—training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, store, stage, and supply materials to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Operate forklifts and assist with grinding and tumbling operations as needed.
• Support ad hoc tasks related to material flow.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Associate Level 1 – Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, staging, and supplying materials that support daily manufacturing operations. This role works closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and comfortable operating forklifts and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position may also assist with grinding and tumbling operations as business needs require.

Material Handler - 1st Shift (7am - 3pm) Monday - Friday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not mandatory — training can be provided
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, dust, noise, and moving equipment. PPE is required at all times.
