Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to join our Portsmouth, NH on-site manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor GMP equipment, perform CIP/SIP cleaning support, and assist with lab tasks like pH and conductivity checks.

The role follows a 12-hour day shift on a rotating two-on two-off schedule. You will contribute to production records, maintain safe workspaces, and participate in continuous improvement efforts alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment following GMP procedures.
• Set up and support cleaning processes, including CIP and SIP.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as monitoring pH, conductivity, and testing samples.
• Handle and move materials across production areas safely.
• Complete production and documentation records accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
• Support team activities, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts.

As a Manufacturing Associate I, you will help produce life‑saving therapeutic proteins in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a supportive team while building valuable skills in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This role follows a 12‑hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).
