Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring Manufacturing Associates / Machine Operators for multiple full-time opportunities in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The employer is actively interviewing and seeking dependable candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience and forklift experience who are ready to contribute in a team-oriented production environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Working under the direction of the Business Unit Manager and Production Supervisor, the Manufacturing Associate / Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment while producing quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.

This position requires hands-on manufacturing experience, attention to quality, safe equipment operation, accurate production recordkeeping, and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up, operate, and maintain assigned production equipment
  • Maintain responsibility for the quality and efficiency of assigned equipment
  • Monitor production equipment during operation
  • Complete assigned daily production records accurately
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow Total Quality Management (TQM) policies and plant-specific procedures
  • Comply with applicable facility and divisional quality standards
  • Follow TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures as applicable
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements
  • Maintain housekeeping and workplace safety standards
  • Participate in required training
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Participate in cost-reduction efforts as appropriate
  • Use measurement tools and accurately record measurements
  • Perform basic computer/data-entry functions associated with production records
  • Safely operate a forklift as required by the position
  • Work collaboratively with production team members and supervision
  • Maintain dependable and acceptable attendance
MACHINE OPERATION

Candidates should have previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Relevant experience may include:

FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

QUALITY & MEASUREMENT

The position requires basic measurement skills and the ability to understand and record precise measurements. Experience with tools such as calipers, gauges, or comparable production measurement equipment is highly relevant.

Candidates with experience working under structured manufacturing quality systems, SOPs, TQM procedures, TS/IATF standards, ISO standards, or similar controlled production processes are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position is performed on a manufacturing floor and requires:
