Job summary

Just Evotec Biologic in Redmond, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I for downstream purification. You will perform and monitor core processes and help roll out new products in a collaborative setting.

The role emphasizes curiosity, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork, with a site-based schedule. A strong foundation in science or engineering and hands-on manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Associate’s degree in science-related area with relevant experience acceptable.
• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor core downstream purification processes (single-use bioreactors, perfusion, chromatography, filtration).
• Support introduction of new products and technologies into the facility.
• Initiate non-conformances (NC) when needed.
• Execute Electronic Batch Records (EBR) using MES.
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures and SOPs as needed.
• Support operations of glasswasher and autoclave.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform and monitor critical processes (i.e., Single use bioreactor operations, perfusion, chromatography, product filtration, and solution preparation)
• Supporting the introduction of new products and technologies into the facility
• Initiating non-conformances (NC)
• Execution of Electronic Batch Records (EBR) using Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, as necessary
• Support operations of glasswasher and autoclave
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; or
• Associate’s degree in science-related area and relevant experience; or
• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualification Requirements:

• Candidate must possess strong focus on right the first time and attention to detail
• Possess effective task/time management organizational skills
• Capacity to develop solutions to technical issues of moderate scope
• Ability to organize, analyze/interpret, and effectively communicate individual results
• Motivated, self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude
• Good interpersonal, team, and communication skills are a must
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

The base pay range for this non-exempt position at commencement of employment is expected to be $22.00 -$25.00 hourly offered may vary depending on individual's skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long‑term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
