Manufacturing Associate I - Assembly & Packaging

This position is for a pharmaceutical company located in Fremont, CA. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a GMP environment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute routine unit operations in Manufacturing Assembly and Packaging related to drug product manufacturing.
2. Perform duties under limited supervision following SOPs.
3. Assist senior staff in assembly and packaging in designated areas.
4. Support troubleshooting of equipment.
5. Assist with setup and changeover of automated and semi-automated machines.
6. Perform minor repairs and adjustments.
7. Identify and correct problems in real-time.
8. Document all work according to company policies, including batch records and logbooks.
9. Support room cleaning and waste disposal according to safety standards.
10. Verify equipment calibration and document accordingly.
11. Perform assembly, packaging, visual inspection, and filling operations as needed.
12. Ensure components and materials are stocked prior to operations.
13. Move products and components within the area.
14. Communicate shift changes effectively.
15. Maintain production areas according to standards (5S).
16. Follow safety standards and escalate unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 1 year of GMP industry experience.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree or biotech vocational training preferred.
