We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Manufacturing Associate supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at Johns Creek, GA.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Constructs, solves problems, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in the prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks.
  • Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advised.
  • Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • MA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquired.
  • Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift: 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend) This shift starts at 6:00 am and ends at 6:30 pm.
  • Travel Requirements: 0%.
  • Sponsorship & Relocation Not Available.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical Certification.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
