Manufacturing Associate (Glass Experience Required)

Wage: Starting at $14.00 DOE. 90‑day evaluation and possible pay rate change.

Glaz‑Tech is seeking a Gluer, Capper on IG Line and Framing for IG at our Baton Rouge, LA location. The ideal candidate is responsible, adaptable, and self‑driven, looking to grow within the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing associate will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure products are produced safely and to the highest quality.

Glaz‑Tech Industries is a wholesale manufacturer and supplier of residential, commercial, and specialty glass products across seven states, offering a wide range of flat glass products including low‑e, laminated, tempered, tinted, reflective, and insulated glass units.

Responsibilities

• Use specialized machinery and hand tools.
• Organize and produce various glass products.
• Assist multiple departments as needed.
• Inspect accepts and/or reject work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections of raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with accuracy in all tasks.
• Spot errors, maintain consistency, and ensure high standards of quality.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift 50‑75 pounds.
• Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
