Sheridan Lebanon Junction is hiring a Manufacturing Associate - Bindery for the 1st Shift. We train on the job and you’ll contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials for customers nationwide.

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or similar hands-on environments.

Responsibilities

• Support bindery production by staging, feeding, stacking, organizing, and moving materials.
• Prepare printed materials for finishing, packaging, and shipment with quality and accuracy.
• Sort, separate, and handle printed materials per job specs.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, hoists).
• Label, band, wrap, and secure finished products for storage or shipment.
• Complete production records and maintain inventory and material tracking information.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Collaborate with operators to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

What You'll Do

• Support bindery production by staging, feeding, stacking, organizing, and moving materials throughout the manufacturing process.
• Prepare printed materials for finishing, packaging, and shipment while ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Sort, separate, and handle printed materials according to job specifications.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, hoists, and other production support equipment.
• Label, band, wrap, and secure finished products for storage, transfer, or customer shipment.
• Complete production records andmaintainaccurateinventory and material tracking information.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Work closely with operators and team members to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and helpmaintaina clean, organized work environment.

It's a Plus If You Have

• Previousmanufacturing, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
• Experience working in a print, packaging, paper converting, or production environment.
• Knowledge of inventory, shipping, or production documentation processes.

Physical & Work Environment

• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and material handling activities.
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving equipment and varying noise levels.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection and safety footwear.
