Job summary

Chicago Anodizing Company in Chicago, IL is seeking a hands-on team member to support our manufacturing operations. You will inspect parts, prep for finishing, rack and un rack aluminum components, and help maintain an efficient workflow, with ERP-based tracking.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish, 8-hour day availability, safety awareness, and the ability to lift items. You will work with supervisors and teammates to ensure quality and timely packing and documentation in our ERP

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least 8 hours a day.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and manipulate items of various sizes and weights.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities

• Inspect items for defects, imperfections, or damage before racking.
• Prepare items for finishing by ensuring proper cleaning and/or masking.
• Rack and unrack aluminum parts.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any issues with product to the floor supervisor.
• Pack the product properly back into the boxes.
• Review work instructions that will be provided to you and apply it to the job.
• Move things digitally to reflect what is being done physically using our ERP system.
