Operates Punch Press, Welder Machine Resist (Spot Weld), Bench and Milling Machine Electro (EDM) Machines.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Operate Punch Press, Welder Machine Resist (Spot Weld), Bench and Milling Machine Electro (EDM) Machines.
  • Work with materials such as castings and forgings.
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines including one-piece flow, standard work, 6S, set-up reduction, and wet process lines.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure safety and efficiency, including cleaning around machines, managing coolant/machine fluids, and organizing the work area.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Graduation from a Vocational High School or equivalent manufacturing program, or at least 6 months of machining experience with Lathes, Mills, Punch Press, Bench, Spot Weld, and EDM Machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English for work instructions, quality sheets, and inspection reports.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Ability to verify and inspect own work with tools like micrometers and surface plates.
  • Skill to operate multiple manual machines concurrently.
  • Team-oriented and effective in a cellular environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Focus on producing error-free products and accurate paperwork.
  • Experience machining high-temperature materials (Inconel, stainless steel, titanium, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and aerospace standards.
  • Ability to follow written instructions precisely and operate multiple machines.
  • Experience with Optical Comparator.
Eligibility Requirement:
  • Ability to lift and manipulate fixtures and components up to 25 lbs., with or without accommodations.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers depend on obtaining necessary authorization from the U.S. Government for non-U.S. persons.
