Position Summary

At Great Northern, safety is the top priority. This heavily automated facility requires computer skills. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to familiarize yourself with various machines. As positions open, you can express interest and bid for these opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup
• Feeding machinery
• Quality checks
• Palletizing product
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Starting pay is $28.08, with a pay increase after 45 days
• Shift differentials: $0.50/hour for 2nd shift, $0.75/hour for 3rd shift
• Opportunity to bid for new jobs and salaries, including forklift positions, based on seniority

Schedule

Weekly rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday:

• Week 1: 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Week 2: 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Week 3: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Overtime may include 12-hour shifts and Saturdays. Sundays are paid double time and are usually voluntary, but the company may schedule Sunday OT if needed.
