Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Wisconsin seeks an assembly worker to operate pneumatic nailers, frame nailers, and sash pinners to build window units. You will lift, secure, and glue components, position glass, and ensure proper packing for transport while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role requires 2-3 years in manufacturing or assembly, basic math, and solid English communication within a team. It involves standing long hours and lifting up to 50 lbs, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma, HSED, or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years work experience, manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and measurements in manufacturing contexts.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions and communicate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate pneumatic nailers and staplers to fasten window components.
• Operate frame nailer to assemble wooden window frame and sash components.
• Lift, secure and fasten window sash into frame; place glass lights into sash frame.
• Roll and press glazing bead around glass perimeter; move units to pickup area.
• Record inventory transactions and participate in team handoffs and housekeeping.

Able to perform these computations using American weight measurement, volume and distance.Communication skills: able to understand and carry out English written and oral instructions, able to communicate with co-workers to discuss process problems and solutionsRegularly required to stand and walk, frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to bend/stoop, and kneel.
