The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for manufacturing, testing, and packing of products based on the work instructions. The position is also responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. The Manufacturing Associate must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment as required, follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Metals department.

The 2nd shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:10pm to 1:10am

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Complete all job duties of Inkjet-related production, including continuous roll operations, strip slitting and cleaning.
• Become proficient in Quality Inspection, material handling/flow, data gathering and all applicable procedures/shop orders. Prepare and maintain records as required.
• Assist other team members as instructed by your Team Leader or Supervisor. Complete other duties as required by management.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Experience in like work centers and accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
• Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
  
  

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• A heavy manufacturing environment
• Working with steel microfibers
