Summary

The Manufacturing Associate performs manufacturing activities including the production and inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements. The role involves simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality products.

Essential Job Functions
  • Convert raw materials into finished products
  • Build products to standard rate
  • Read job orders for product specifications
  • Complete in-process inspections
  • Use computer software for document retrieval and data entry
  • Build simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions
  • Properly use basic hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saw, rulers, microscope/magnifier
  • Complete all paperwork related to assembly processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes
  • Maintain a focus on quality and ensure process quality at each step
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities
  • Meet quality, cost, and delivery goals
  • Work collaboratively within a team
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
  • Other duties as required to support the department and company
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Soldering Certification (to be completed within 90 days of hire)
Language Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Proficient in communication
  • Ability to interpret instructions, blueprints, drawings, schematics

Physical Demands

Prolonged sitting, manual handling, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
