Job summary

Harmon, Inc. in West Chester, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the fabrication team. You will read blueprints, fabricate window framing materials, and assemble components including insulated glass units.

The role uses manual/power tools and may involve forklifts or overhead cranes in a fast-paced setting. You will help stage products, manage inventory, and ensure timely production while maintaining 5S practices and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Curtain wall or architectural glass industry experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to push, pull, and lift 30–60 pounds; occasionally bend and climb.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing materials per work orders.
• Work with metal and glass components, including insulated glass units.
• Use manual and power hand tools to complete fabrication and assembly.
• Load and unload materials using hand methods, forklifts, and cranes.
• Inspect and package completed frames for shipment.
• Stage products and assist with inventory management.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity goals.
• Operate CNC equipment translating fabrication instructions to commands.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area and practice 5S.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and safety procedures.
