A leading company seeks a Manufacturing Associate I to operate machinery and ensure quality standards in a cleanroom environment. Job Description: Manufacturing Associate I Job Description Summary Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation e.g., SOPs , layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles. POSITION SUMMARY: Perform several manufacturing functions within the manufacturing operations team. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Understand and adhere to safety policies and practices -Follow Clean Room Environment Procedures -Follow documentation procedure filling out Data History Records DHRs , reading and understanding instructions from Work Release WR , Planned Deviation Report PDR or Non-Conformance Report NCR -Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and Manufacturing Work Instructions. -Maintain cleanroom standards, practices, and housekeeping according to standard operating procedures. -Set up and operate manufacturing equipment. -Clean and maintain equipment and work area. -Work under close supervision -Ability to work in a team environment -Use tools such as microscopes, tweezers, and other hand-held tools. -Perform in-process inspection of components and assemblies to verify quality conformance. -Recognize any minor issues from the equipment and any affiliated documentations and take appropriate corrective action within limited scope. Notify Supervisors and Leads of issues and discrepancies immediately. -Perform several Manufacturing operations proficiently. -Apply company policies and procedures to complete daily tasks. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education or Experience in years : -0-1 year of related experience -High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience Knowledge and skills: -Knows how to read drawings.
