Job summary

Tournesol Siteworks, LLC is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for our Jurupa Valley, CA facility. In this full-time, hourly role you will work under the Production Manager and collaborate with team leads to build, assemble and ship products for commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities include sanding, applying bondo/primer, reading production schedules, inspecting quality, and maintaining inventory records. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing a respirator as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a measuring tape accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Travel domestically for in-field repairs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Manager and team leads to fabricate and ship products.
• Prepare surfaces (sanding) and apply bondo, primer, wood filler.
• Read and follow production schedules and orders.
• Inspect material quality throughout production processes.
• Complete inventory paperwork and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow plant safety rules.
• Organize warehouse space and assist other departments as needed.

About the Team

The Production team is currently seeking an individual with general working experience for our Jurupa Valley, CA manufacturing facility. The Fabrication team works together with other departments to create, build, assemble and ship products for the commercial construction industry.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will work under the direction of the Production Manager and directly with the team leads to create product to be shipped to our customers, as well as other tasks as assigned including warehouse upkeep and organizing. processing materials for custom products from drawings/blueprints. This position is located in our Jurupa Valley, CA manufacturing facility. You’ll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.

What You Will Do

• Positions will vary, as we are experiencing fast growth, but positions may include but are not limited to;
• Sanding products down to prepare for painting
• Apply bondo, primer and wood filler to ensure there are no defects
• Read and interpret production schedules and orders
• Inspect the quality of the material before, during and after the various processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete required paperwork for inventory purposes
• Report defective material and faulty equipment to Production Manager immediately
• Maintain a clean work environment and abide by all plant safety regulations and work rules
• Organizing warehouse space
• Provide additional support to other departments

The pay range for this role is:

17.50 - 17.50 USD per hour (Jurupa Valley)
