Job summary

Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. in Iowa is seeking workers to join manufacturing operations. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability as you support material handling and housekeeping within the department.

You will unload and store materials, assist colleagues, and temporarily cover entry-level positions as needed, contributing to a safe, productive work environment at a company known for quality and development.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot, humid, dirty, etc.).
• Preferred exposure to manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work area in the department.
• Manually unload and store materials as directed.
• Assist others in performance of their duties.
