Job summary

Gerdau North America in Wilton, IA is seeking a general labor team member to support safe, efficient operations in our steel facility.

You will unload and store materials, maintain housekeeping, assist coworkers, and may temporarily fill entry-level positions. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds, work in extreme conditions, and operate on rotating shifts. Gerdau offers Day 1 medical, dental, vision and other benefits, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot, humid, dirty, etc.).
• Preferred: Exposure to manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
